SONGS RELEASE: SELECTIA NATIONALA 2021

TVR has released all of the forty-six songs that are competing in Selecţia Naţională 2022 to represent Romania at Eurovision.

The forty-six songs that are competing to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy have been released. TVR has published a YouTube playlist of all of the studio versions of the songs.

The songs competing in the Romanian selection are:

The songs will all go through to compete in a two-part semi-final. In the semi-final TVR has confirmed that the public will be able to vote on record performances of each song.

From February 5 to 10 a jury and the public will be able to vote online for their favourite acts. The jury will select 15 songs to progress to the second part of the final, while the public will select 5 songs.

On February 12 a televised semi-final is then held, with the first live performances from the twenty shortlisted songs. In this show, a jury will select ten songs to go through to the final. They will announce their points after each performance.

On March 5 the final of Selecţia Naţională will be held, the winner representing Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy. The winner will be determined by a combination of public vote and jury voting.
