Another country is coming to the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Italy. This is Albania, whose broadcaster RTSH today published a competition for songs for the 60th edition of Festivals and Kënges,

According to a social media post, what is needed to sign up is:

  1. the final version of the song in the format 16 bit 44.1 khz wave;
  2. final version of the orchestral base with backing vocals in the format 16 bit 44.1 khz wave;
  3. final version of the orchestral base without vocals in 16 bit 44.1 khz wave format;
  4. note scores with song lyrics;
  5. note scores for the orchestra with the lyrics;
  6. MIDI FILE version of the song;
  7. song lyrics;
  8. a photo of the performer if it is the same first performance;
  9. short biography (previous activities and performances in competitions).

As can be seen from the application manual, RTSH plans to return the orchestra for FIK60, but confirmation of this information depends on epidemiological measures in December. Remember, there was no orchestra on FIK59, which is why the song stencils were used, but one night it was dedicated to acoustic versions.

Applications can be sent to Radio Tirana or to the festival@rtsh.al. Check-in dates are October 15 and 16.
